Interview with Václav Harašta, founder and CEO of ArtiPlay

Václav, you have been in the gaming industry since 1995 and are behind a number of significant projects. Today we see you as the leader of ArtiPlay with global ambitions. What was your path to this dynamic project?
Václav Harašta:
The path to ArtiPlay was a natural outcome of years of experience and strong relationships in the field of gaming entertainment. The first idea for a truly innovative online gaming product arose in 2022. Since then, a unique concept for a new gaming system has been built step by step. At the end of 2023, detailed project documentation was prepared, and shortly thereafter I joined forces with Petr Vymetálek and Radek Štěpánek, with whom I have many years of friendship not only from the gaming environment. Together, we began to build a team of top professionals and passionate enthusiasts. Each of us has a slightly different perspective, but we all share the same passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries in the gaming industry. That's how ArtiPlay was born.

What do you consider key when developing new online games?
Václav Harašta:
Definitely a team and attention to detail. In our industry, every link in the chain is essential; if something doesn't work 100 percent, it shows in the result. I'm proud that Petr and Radek and I have put together a team that shares our values and passion for innovation. That's the foundation we build on.

What are ArtiPlay's business visions on the global market?
Václav Harašta:
We are betting on a top-notch product and strong relationships with business partners. In a short time, we developed our own gaming system, obtained the necessary certifications, mastered API integration and launched games at the first online casino. Without massive advertising, we have already established strategic partnerships with major online casinos that appreciate our speed and innovative approach. In January 2026, we were at ICE Barcelona, where we took away not only new contacts, but also great feedback on our product, which motivates us and confirms that we are going in the right direction. We believe that ArtiPlay has the potential to become a respected player on the global market.

What awaits ArtiPlay this year?
Václav Harašta:
We will celebrate the company's second anniversary and we have a lot of work ahead of us, which we are going into with maximum commitment. We are expanding the team with new talents, because interest in ArtiPlay is growing not only in Europe, and for this reason it is necessary to increase development capacity even more. With Petr and Radek, we are already preparing the third set of games, which will be even more innovative, timeless and extremely user-friendly. And of course, we have a number of business meetings around the world ahead of us, which we always look forward to, because the global gaming community is full of inspiration and new opportunities.
